  Photogrammetry
Our new photogrammetric mapping service that uses computer modelling of stereoscopic photographs to produce high accuracy digital elevation models and site plans. It is ideal for rapidly mapping any site where speed and accuracy are of the essence.

The typical procedure is: >> 1. Collect photography on site >>2. Download digital images to modelling software >>3. Produce result, usually within 1 hour.

TerraDat Telescopic Photogrammetry MastOur system uses a variety of handheld high resolution digital photography, high viewpoint photography from a telescopic mast, or aerial photography from a portable helium balloon or aircraft. The speed and accuracy of the results make

TerraDat photogrammetry an serious consideration for many applications from quarrying, crime scene investigation, accident investigation, geological mapping and much more.

Some downloadable examples are available below. In order to view and manipulate them you need to download the VRML browser plugin here.

Quarrying: View of a quarry showing the impressive ability to map all aspects of quarry topography that could not be surveyed using traditional methods due to H&S considerations. Of particular interest to blasting planning where rock protuberances can be modelled.
